The Philosophy Group meets every second Wednesday in the month from 10.00 – 12.00 at the Friends' Meeting House in Bakewell.

In the past we have covered a range of topics in our discussions from exploring some thorny philosophical questions, discussing the European Convention on Human Rights, universal basic income, benefits and harm of religion to examining the basis for codes of ethics.

Essentially we aim to enjoy ourselves, continue to be curious, and, above all, not to take ourselves too seriously.
