When: on Monday afternoons
4th Monday in Great Longstone
Venue: Great Longstone Village Hall

Meets between 2 and 4pm on the 4th Monday in the month at Great Longstone Village Hall.

Our October meeting on 28th will continue the topic of Steve's talk in September examining the life and times of Hans Holbein the Younger in the first half of the C16th. A number of group members will make contributions on the culture, national and international history of the period and on other artists who were Holbein's contemporaries.

We will meet in November on the 25th but haven't yet decided the topic.

We are not short of ideas ranging across the Dutch Golden Age; Ruskin, Morris, the Pre-Raphaelites and the Arts and Crafts Movement; late C19th French painting; The Bauhaus and early C20th European artists.

The group is a good size, around 15 members. One or two more could possibly be accommodated, but most group members will be asked to prepare occasional contributions and presentations.
