Ashley Franklin spoke to us in January about his “Derbyshire Life,” and we felt he was one of our best in a long time and what he was saying was well worth hearing. He’d been a photographer and writer for “Derbyshire Life” for many years and his talk centred around the lesser known towns and villages in south Derbyshire which he’d researched, photographed and written articles about, along with really quirky stories.
